BERRY VAN PEER has received widespread praise across the darting community for his courageous performances at the Grand Slam of Darts.
The Dutch youngster was visibly struggling to release his darts but managed claim victories against Cameron Menzies and former European Champion Simon Whitlock in Wolverhampton.
Incredibly, he progressed from the group stage with two-time World Champion Gary Anderson, who led the tributes.

Van Peer was eventually defeated in the last 16 by Champions League winner Mensur Suljovic but he certainly won the hearts of the Wolverhampton crowd and viewers around the world.
